For astrological reasons, Tuesday was a day of hectic activity for Himesh Reshammiya. There were two mahurats to attend one after another. He barely finished recording the first song for Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Mudh Ke at the Empire Studio in central Mumbai when he had to rush to the suburbs for the first day’s shooting of Kajraare.

What made you choose Himesh Reshammiya to score the music for your film?
Himesh told me that it’s going to be his last film as a music composer. When his name was suggested, I didn’t know who he was. I was skeptical. I didn’t know this new name. But let me tell you frankly he surprised me at the very first meeting.

Tell us more about Kamal Haasan’s involvement in the movie.
At some point of time, all of us in the crew got tired doing the movie. Kamal was the only person who never lost interest and worked till the end with the same zeal he started with.

Himesh also had the biggest show of his life at the Wembley Arena in London on the October 29, 2006 where he announced his film Aap Kaa Surroor . He announced his three films Karzzzz, A Love Iiisshtory and Kajraare on October 29 last year.

Sony Entertainment Television has announced that it will air 53rd Filmfare Awards on Sunday March 2, at 8.00 p.m.
The 53rd Fair One Annual Filmfare awards was strictly a black tie affair with the crème de la crème of the Hindi film industry along with bureaucrats and politicians attending the gala event as they walked the red carpet. Himesh is one of my favourites from the 3rd generation. He was one of the very few who gave me constant feedback and suggestions to change according to the trends. He is a very hard working lad and his base is his melody that never dies.

Hold your breath — Himesh Reshammiya will be performing live at the Filmfare Awards in Mumbai this Saturday.
He has completed his first phase of shooting for Karzzzz in Johannesburg and is returning to Mumbai. Within a few hours of touching down, he will go straight to the Filmfare Awards where his new look will be revealed to all.
Says a unit member of Karzzzz, “Himesh is demonstrating great energy without showing any signs of stress or discomfort. He has been shooting non-stop for the movie and now, without even catching a breather, he is all set to come up with a performance in front of the industry big wigs.”
