News: Karzzzz ka music and lyrics!
Sameer the renowned lyricist has covered a long journey; he has worked with the maximum number of music directors and proved his excellence in work. His melodious words in films and albums created the long lasting impact on the hearts of listeners and its still continues with his latest film Karzzzzz which is already ruling the music charts. His latest musical extravaganza Karzzzzz is very close to his heart as he has devoted the tribute to the legendary lyricist Anand Bakshi for his new generation Karzzzz. He drew inspiration from Anand Bakshi, whom he consider his mentor, while penning the songs for Karzzzz.
In Karzzzz we will find the coming together of Himesh Reshammiya and Sameer after a long gap. Karzzzz is having a versatile music of frenzy rap-n-reggae which flows to create an engrossing rendezvous for dancing floors. Himesh Reshammiya, who has frequently catapulted in to the top of the charts during the last few years with back-to-back three dozens plus hits, makes a magnificent comeback with this grand musical offering. Aap Ka Surroor was their last venture together which created much hype among the music listeners.
Sameer says, “Himesh and I had formed a team. I did some of my finest and the most popular work for Himesh in films from ‘Tere Naam’ to ‘Aap Kaa Surroor’. But now that he has decided to compose only for his own movies, I have been forced to slow down. Yes, I have written the lyrics for Himesh’s upcoming films – latest being Karzzzzz, and his upcoming movies Kajra Re and A Love Ssssshtory.”
In Karzzzz, one hears traditional Indian instruments (tabla, sitar, harmonium and sarangi) getting mellifluously amalgamated with westernized beat patterns. Sameer’s sensitively verbatim in antaras are worth-hearing and it’s by far his finest effort by him in the album. Its club and lounge mix comes as party song where this decent sounding composition gets loaded by energized electronic disco beat fillers. His finely versed lyrics sum up to make this an enchanting melody. The added dimensions of smoothening impact and rollicking dancing fervor makes full blast in its “Club & Lounge” remix version. Sameer’s free-flowing lyrics are at their fiery blast in a composition that reminds of flashy 80’s disco era.
Sameer lyrics are loved by the younger generation a lot but penning down such beautiful words is not an easy task for him. Sameer reveals about the biggest challenge of penning down lyrics. He says,” Karzzzz is based on a theme of revenge which is not at all a soft theme but I have to write romantic songs for this film which was the biggest challenge for me. Every musical composition bears certain energy, a vibration and a life of its own; I had to drill down for words to create a romantic song. It was very difficult to write down songs for Karzzzz but, I would give the credit to my inspiration Anand Bakshi whom I consider as my guide.”
Sameer is pleased with his latest achievement as he wants to write more melodious songs which are meaningful and could make people happy. He has the ability of expressing most precious emotions in words. Now-a-days he is working with the top notch composers and directors. His upcoming ventures are Golmaal Returns, Do Knot Disturb, Kajrare and Houseful.”

His lyrics are atleasr fan-friendly i.e. after listening 2 his songs 4-5 times… we automatically get 2 learn the lyrics… they rn’t as difficult as the lyrics by others like Javed Akhtar n Gulzar… Sameer is 1 of the finest lyricists in our industry!!! <3 We ol r proud of the work done by him for HR:x
thanks jem for such a warm welcome, this site is really addictive and soulful. as far as the recent news is concerned, yes i feel lyrics are heart of a song and sameerji has indeed done a appreciatable work in karzzzz.
i just feel the lyrics of songs mashallah and dhoom tere ishq ki……also lut jaaun are fantastic and suits the twang of himeshji accurately eg:in tandoori nights there’s a line “teri lagan lagi, teri lagan lagi, teri lagan………teri agan jagi, teri agan jagi, teri agan soneyaar ve” this sounds very beautiful. I must say that CD1 is the real ecstasy of himeshji’s work, i just loved mashallah(no. 1 song in this album) due to its very good arrangement, groovy string instrument all around and even at last seconds of song himeshji just gives an abrupt ending in the rap like stanza at last “mashaallah subhanallah tera chehr`a” this particular stop is fantastic,Dhoom tere ishq is another good song with Indian touch on whole that “miloge dubaara” in mid song time line is good, it can be said overall that himesh has done a fantastic singing so far esp. in karzzzz.and
i may not be able to appear here very often as i have to leave for college hostel in few days,i guess i will watch karzzzz on my weekend outings and just miss out all fun you all guys have here, but one can expect me on music releases, here i just said it to have a strong commitment towards HR’s soulful music and JTYJN music dissapointed me alot neverthless karzzzz is a double treat for me now.
from me karzzzz album rating would be at 4.25/5,only due to that CD2! as i really hate remixes hence i depend on the originals of a composer as they are composers’ own identity. OK guys, b’bye see you all soon as possible.
Jai mata di lets rock!
Sameerji always done his best 4 himeshji..ar rahman music always much inspired frm arabic songs..if u dnt believe on me just try2 listen arabic songs…4 me himeshji is best composer of dis tym n also panchamda copied bundle of tunes n songs….i knw all type songs dnt match wid himeshji voice but as composer no one cn beat himeshji.,.i cn say hr n ar rehman r best at their own place n position.,but as composer rahman cnt beat reshammiya…for himesh haters u cn never ignore da hard work of dis man(himesh).,reshammiya is god 4 me..n i cn go 2 any level 4 himeshji..he is true rockstar
jem…..what happened to himesh reshammiyas school of music….himeshji intended to open it in four metros…has the project hit a roadblock???????
Hello everybody Sameer-Reshammiya combination is good.If want to listen this music first close your eyes and then listen, you will get great happiness.Remix by akbar sami is not so good but starting of lut jaoon sounds like ‘tin tin tin, tin’ it good and hari om both electro & indian mixes are impressive but other songs are bad.Himesh has used both indian and western instruments thats cool.Ek haseena thi is better than Dartan-e-om shanti om of om shanti om(oso is also a remake of Karz) I will give 4.5 out of 5 for this
@deeps: Himeshji said in a recent interview that he will still be working on the school lekin he will work on it at a time where mann lagake kaam kar sakta hai as he doesn’t believe in doing anything half heartedly!! so he still wants to do the project - I just don’t know when it will happen
The strength of sameerjis lyrics’ are..it is simple..but yet beautiful..he is very talented on his work..he write good and simple lyrics for all songs he wrote..it is not only himesh-sameer combination that clicked..sameerji also write lyrics for other music directors like pritam..anu malik..nadeem-shravan and most of them..and himeshji has also did good works on music or singing on javed akhter’s lyrics..but himesh-sameer combination is simply unstoppable..both of them appeals for the younger generation..and both of them do good works…i hope this good work continues and they keep entertaining the listeners…
