Himeshji performed at Planet M!
The hit singer Himesh Reshammiya enthralled shoppers at Inorbit Mall in Malad West, Mumbai, where he had come for a Planet M event.
Before Himesh arrived, a young fellow called Hanif got onstage and sang a couple of his favourite Himesh numbers. The crowd was already pretty entertained and was amused to see Hanif trying to sing like the actor-singer-composer.
Himesh finally showed up, and people almost fell off the railings to get a good glimpse of the man. He joked about the days when he was overweight, and said he missed tandoori potatoes, tandoori capsicum, tandoori paneer and all vegetarian things tandoori as his parents had put him on a boiled and grilled food diet. And he launched into his song from Karzzzz, Tandoori Nights!
He then sang another song from Aashiq Banaya Aapne and another song from Karzzzz, which wasn’t in the original Karz. The crowd was enjoying all this, and when he sang Ek Haseena Thi, all the families that had come to shop were clapping along and cheering Himeshbhai.
One thing Himesh Reshammiya’s detractors won’t bring up in a hurry is his nasal singing style, the man himself was laughing about it. Before singing Ek Haseena Thi, he said he was going to treat the audience to something he hadn’t sung from his nose!
Another thing is the guy is really humble, he said all he wants is Karzzzz to be a superhit, and that Rishi Kapoor is the best Monty ever and he is the worst. He showed absolutely no starry airs, and everytime someone requested a song, he obliged. Way to go, dude!

himeshji apne bare main ye sab kehte rehte hain k mein naak se gaata hoon ya rishiji is best monty and he is worst. himeshji ! what a down to earthness of urs . iam really impressed . but plz dont say this k app worst monty hain u are perfect monty. jahan taak tandoor ki baat i am crazy for it myself but not over wieght. i myself love it. lekin diet karna mere bas ki baat nahi hai. only hardworkers like himeshji can do. really appreciable!
