Hello Reshammiyans
We hope you are all keeping well and enjoying this festive season
I know many of you are eagerly awaiting the re-start of our regular feature "Song of the Week". Well the wait is over - it is back from this week and its theme will be a Karzzzz special
Our Karzzzz special will have a poll each week that will feature all the songs from the soundtrack. The song which gets the most votes i.e. the most popular song will be chosen as the first song of the week - ALL the songs from the Karzzzz soundtrack will get discussed, but we just won't know in which order as it is the Reshammiyans that will decide that by voting every week
The Karzzzz soundtrack is as follows: (Original CD no remixes yet)

*Tandoori Nights
*Hari Om
*Soniye Je Tere
*Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki
*Sisak Sisak Ke
*Tere Bin Chain Na Aave

*Ek Haseena Thi
please vote for the song that you want to be discussed first by clicking on the poll on the right hand side
Let's see which are the most popular tracks from Himeshji's latest album Karzzzz
Voting will be open from this wednesday till next wednesday!

Himesh Reshammiya’s Karzzzz has released and he feels it’s time to take a break and treat his family (his parents, wife Komal and son Swayam) to a holiday.
Family time
Himesh says, “I have taken a 15-day break for the first time in five years. I return and start shooting for the last schedule of Kajraare from Nov 4. My family has accompanied me on my shows in Amsterdam but you can’t call that a holiday.”

With as many as 5,000 shows a day, a grand success party is very much on the anvil. Himesh plans to celebrate his success with God, too. “I went to Siddhivinayak temple on the day of release. I plan to go again to thank God for all that he has done,” he says.
Himesh, who had initially decided to be seen on screen with fresh faces, will now work with more reputed and well-known actors. “Urmila played Kamini in the film. I liked our chemistry in Tandoori nights. It has convinced me of working with more established actors in the future. Yes, I had earlier said that I’ll act only with newcomers, but when my chemistry with established actors is working, why not give that a shot, too?” says Himesh.

• People say that multiplexes are not running to houseful capacity
Karzzzz has been released with approximately 1200 prints and nearly 5000 shows a day which is a record for any Bollywood film.
Naturally the collections cannot be expected to be houseful except on weekends. Also it is only my second film. Ideally, I would have released Karzzzz with 500 prints but like in the West, now it is all about how much collection you generate in the first week.

“Himesh’s version of Monty will shock the audiences for sure” - Satish Kaushik
He is a man with multiple talents and experience. Besides acting, he produces, directs, and writes films as well. We are talking about the versatile actor cum director Satish Kaushik who is all excited as his directorial venture Karzzzz is released this week.
Seeing Himesh Reshammiya in the shoes of Rishi Kapoor must indeed have been a challenge but Satish Kaushik was never among the ones who’d run away from challenges. The movie as per the earlier reviews has been stunning. But mass reaction- one will just have to wait. In the meantime, Bollywood Hungama caught up with Satish Kaushik to find out something more about Karzzzz with the 4 ‘z’ and his experience with Himesh Reshammiya. So sit back and enjoy.

He’s been used to success always, ever since he produced, wrote the story of, and composed the title-tracks of almost half-a-dozen television serials in his early twenties, then composed music for Hindi films and reached the top, then turned playback singer and touched gold, and finally faced the camera with great success. Each of these triumphs has been well-planned, and each success has made Himesh Reshammiya confident while retaining his grounded humility and business acumen.
But now for the first time, we see a different Reshammiya – a human being who is as down-to-earth as ever if not more, but with far less self-confidence. And we want to know why. So here’s Himesh in a rare candid mode, explaining to India-West why things are different this time.

The moment of reckoning has arrived. Himesh Reshammiya has given the test and the audience’s verdict is keenly awaited. As the film is just hours away from hitting the screens, Himesh Reshammiya gets into an exclusive two-part chat with our correspondent.
After close to a yearlong of generation of hype and hoopla for Karzzzz, the film is finally releasing.
Yes, last one year has been quite eventful. Now is the time for audience to pass its verdict. It’s a slick 2 hrs 18 mins film. I am really expecting it to take a good opening. Exhibitors and distributors have been mighty excited about the prospects of the film. We are bringing the film out on close to 1200 prints globally, which is historic and next only to Singh Is Kinng.
