Himesh Reshammiya pairs with another new girl
Himesh Reshammiya continues to have new girls as his co-stars in films. The latest one being a gorgeous girl named Shruti.
His brooding look may have you believe that Himesh can only do serious or intense roles, but – believe it or not – the actor is set to do comedy in a film titled Hhey Gujju . And like all his films, this one too has Himesh pairing with a newcomer – Shruti Agarwal .
As can be guessed from the title, the movie will have Himesh playing a traditional Gujarati guy named Karsanlal Trikamlal Gandhi who lives in Chandni Chowk in Delhi. Shruti plays a modern Indian girl, born and raised abroad.
Himesh’s second role in the film will be of Akash Patel, a rich Gujarati who lives abroad and has a way with girls.
According to reports, photographer Atul Kasbekar played a significant role in getting Shruti this role. He introduced her to the folks at Studio 18, the film’s producers.
‘Hhey Gujju’ will be directed by Satish Kaushik , who has already directed Himesh in the yet-to-be released Karzzzz .
Reshammiya has a self-styled policy of working only with new girls in films. He gets to romance Shweta Kumar , the daughter of filmmaker Indra Kumar, in ‘Karzzzz’. He pairs with former Miss India Niharika Singh and newbie Jennifer Kotwal in A Love Issshtory and Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke . He’s got Pakistani actress Mona Liza opposite him in Pooja Bhatt’s Kajra Re . And now, the list has only gotten longer with Shruti.
