Himesh Reshammiya has a date fixation. Apart from the fact that his mother’s birthday is on June 29, Himesh had released his debut film Aap Kaa Surroor - The Real Love Story on June 29. Now he has requested his mother, Madhoo to perform the mahurat ceremony of his upcoming film, Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke on April 29, which launches with a song recording.

Himesh also had the biggest show of his life at the Wembley Arena in London on the October 29, 2006 where he announced his film Aap Ka Surroor. He announced his three films Karzzzz, A Love Iiisshtory and Kajraare on the October 29 last year. Says Himesh, “June 29th is my mother’s birthday and I have done all my major assignments on this date. I believe in astrology and since anything that I started on the 29th of any month has proved to be lucky for me, we will have the mahurat of Mudh Mudh ke… on April 29.”

Our source says, “When Himesh released his first film Aap Ka Surroor on his mother’s birthday, it went on to become a huge hit. So, when Himesh asked his mother to perform mahurat ceremony by breaking a coconut, she agreed to do it with a condition that he would never shoot at the Bermuda triangle where he was to shoot the film before his mother flatly refused to let him go there.”

Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh… is a love triangle, which also stars Jennifer Kotwal and Niharika Singh opposite Himesh. The film is being directed by Seema and Sudhir.
