Karzzzz: Tandoori Nights news!

Aa Gale Lag Jaa….

Looking at the jet-speed with which Himesh Reshammiya is signing movies, one just remains stunned! His ‘latest’ venture is the remake of the eternally evergreen film Karz, which is now respelled as Karzzzz is being directed by Satish Kaushik.

Himesh must be one man who must be suffering with a lot of jet lag these days as he has just come from a whopping 40-day outdoor in South Africa and Johannesburg! Accompanying him was none other than our very own Urmila Matondkar, his co-star in the film.

After having shot some dramatic scenes abroad, they are in India to shoot for an item song titled ‘Tandoori Nights’.

The storyline of the original version of Karz is well known and needs no introduction. But what really needs introduction is the fact that unlike the original, Urmila (who plays the character that was played by Simi Garewal in the original) has an item number titled ‘Tandoori Nights’ to her credit, sung by none other than her original Mast voice Sunidhi Chauhan along with Himesh himself!

All of the news that’s revolving around the movie seems like all the cast of this film belongs to the mutual admiration society. Incidentally, Satish Kaushik, who is in recuperating in hospital, just cannot stop ‘singing’ praises of the lead pair Himesh-Urmila, whereas Himesh himself is all praise for Urmila.

What remains to be seen is that will the trio of Satish-Himesh-Urmila be able to make the cinegoers indebted to them for giving us Karzzzz.

    @jayashankar: bro, that was a special video that Himeshji did for Star News on new years eve 2 years ago…I am surprised it hasn’t been mentioned anywhere else :( but I can say the song is an awesome tribute to Gandhiji B-)
