Composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya, who debuted with as a crooner with “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” in 2005, has recorded 75 songs in just a record time. “I’ve already released 50 songs. I intend to use the 25 songs I’ve in my music bank for the four films ‘Karzzzz’, ‘Kajraare’, ‘A Love Iiisshtory’ and ‘Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh’ that I’m starring in,” he said.

In his forthcoming films he wants to introduce at least one new singer. Reshammiya feels he owes it to the industry.

Aa Gale Lag Jaa….

Looking at the jet-speed with which Himesh Reshammiya is signing movies, one just remains stunned! His ‘latest’ venture is the remake of the eternally evergreen film Karz, which is now respelled as Karzzzz is being directed by Satish Kaushik.

Himesh must be one man who must be suffering with a lot of jet lag these days as he has just come from a whopping 40-day outdoor in South Africa and Johannesburg! Accompanying him was none other than our very own Urmila Matondkar, his co-star in the film.

Satish Kaushik hospitalized

Satish Kaushik who’s currently confined to bed after a surgery plans to ask his new blue-eyed boy, Himesh Reshammiya, to compose a promotional song for Kaushik’s teen romance Tere Sang.

“Tere Sang needs a promotional prop. And who better able to provide it than Himesh? Coincidentally, both me and my Tere Sang hero, Ruslaan Mumtaz, are currently confined to bed. He’s so accident prone. While we were shooting Tere Sang he fell off the bicycle and had a serious injury. Now he has torn a ligament in his knee while I am recovering from a minor surgery. This is a good time for me to work on the music of our film.”

The Karzzzz duo to shoot item song Tandoori Nights in Mumbai

Himesh Reshammiya and Urmila Matondkar recently completed a 40-day outdoor in South Africa and Johannesberg for Satish Kaushik’s Karzzzz. They shot for some dramatic scenes on location and the pair will soon shoot an item song called Tandoori Nights.

This one is new

The item song that will soon be filmed on Urmila and Himesh has been sung by Himesh and Sunidhi Chauhan. Himesh says, “It’s a situation which Satishji created and the song is called Tandoori Nights.”

Himesh Reshammiya found a unique way to make his upcoming film, Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Ke’s producer Aditya Singh quit smoking forever. Himesh, who has become a fitness freak after having lost oodles of weight and bagging big budget films, is back in India after a long shooting schedule of Karzzzz in South Africa. As the singer-turned-actor detests smoking, he promised to immediately allot dates for the Paris schedule of Mudh Mudh Ke… on the condition that Aditya immediately quits smoking. Aditya had no option but to immediately give up smoking so that he could get Himesh’s dates.

After the success of his Aap Kaa Surroor-The Moviee, The Real Luv Story, Himesh Reshammiya has signed a three-film contract with T-Series.

Karzzzz is the first of these three, a remake directed by Satish Kaushik.

The second is Kajra Re. To be directed by Pooja Bhatt, this movie will be shot in Jordan and will be released early next year.

Jogi girl Jennifer Kotwal is on her way back to Bollywood. For those of you who know, this actress began her career with a role in the television serial Just Mohabat. She went on to model for various advertisements before she got an offer to play a lead role in Jogi.
