Filmfare awards to be shown on Sony 2nd March 8pm!

Sony Entertainment Television has announced that it will air 53rd Filmfare Awards on Sunday March 2, at 8.00 p.m.

The 53rd Fair One Annual Filmfare awards was strictly a black tie affair with the crème de la crème of the Hindi film industry along with bureaucrats and politicians attending the gala event as they walked the red carpet. The heat of the evening could be felt at the venue. All the razzmatazz, glitz & glam of the event can be watched on Sunday, March 2, only on Sony Entertainment Television.

Himesh revealed his new avatar with Asalaam Walekum. Akshay Kumar took the breath away from people with his energy packed performance on songs from Heyy Baby & Bhool Bhulaiyan.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET), which has been associated with the Filmfare Awards for several years, is all set to make the 53rd Filmfare Awards a very memorable one. This year too, Sony Entertainment Television had its Sony Head & Shoulders Fresh Face of the Year Award went to one of the most beautiful and sensuous young face, Deepika Padukone.

The Red Carpet, as the stars descended on the sparkling arena, hosted by Amrita Arora, added to the glamour and glitterati of the night.Some of the stars who were seen walking the red carpet were John-Bipasha, Hrithik –Suzanne, Madhavan along with his wife, AR Rahman, Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh, Akshay -Twinkle , Deepika Padukone, Himesh Reshamiyya, Kareena Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ranbir Kapoor, Tabu, Karishma-Sanjay, Karan Johar, Gauri Khan, Vidya Balan, Himesh Reshamiyya and many more from the bold and beautiful brigade.

    I have seen the show. HR’s entry without cap was superb..=D>though performance wasn’t so good due to jet-lag.
