Song of the Week: Kitna Pyar Karte Hain…

Published by Jem under Song of the Week

Hello Friends!

We are back with this weeks chosen song ‘Kitna Pyar Karte Hain from the film ‘Banaras - A Mystic Love Story’

Background on ‘Kitna Pyar Karte Hain’

A divine film…with divine music, Banaras was a film which showed all of us the classical side of Himeshji. The album has a variety of classical & folk compositions and it was praised by fans & critics alike!

The opening song of the album: ‘Kitna Pyar Karte Hain’ shows Himeshji singing in the middle octaves. The song has a wonderful piano melody though out. Himeshji’s soothing voice takes you on a magical journey of love and separation. As Himeshji proved himself in another genre, it still surprises some people when they are told that he has sung this song! The song was picturised on Ashmit Patel & Urmila Matondkar (who will also been seen in ‘Karzzz’). The album ‘Banaras’ also features other wonderful melodious compositions such as ‘Ishq Mein Dil Ko’ & the lively holi song ‘Rang Daalo’ as well as the equally classical composition, ‘Purab Se’. The album is a must listen for all die hard HR fans and it is this week’s song of the week!

Song information:

Music: Himesh Reshammiya
Singer: Himesh Reshammiya

CD Cover

To start of the discussion, please tell us:

*Why do you like the song,
*Why is the song special to you,
*What do you think of the melody,
*What do you think about the lyrics,
*How many times have you listened to the song &
*Anything else that you love about the song!!

Looking forward to seeing all of you participating in this weeks discussion!

Let’s Rock!

Himesh Reshammiya never steps out in public with his son Swayam and wife Komal. The only time he ever spoke about them was on Koffee With Karan. But the composer-turned-singer and lately actor, will now break his self-imposed rule of keeping his family under wraps.

The Aap Kaa Surroor star will not only be seen in public with his family but will also perform in their presence at the We Are The Future concert. This show, to be held at the Andheri Sports Complex on January 12, is part of the silver jubilee celebrations of Utpal Sanghvi School, Juhu Scheme — where his son studies.
