Himesh Reshammiya is quite a pro at donning and doffing his trademark cap. He’s had people guessing for a long time about his look in Bhushan Kumar’s Karzzzz. He will be seen without his cap in almost the entire film.
Himesh’s hair transplant is also complete. All the more reason for him to toss aside his cap! Himesh says, Yes, it is true that I will be without my cap in 75 per cent of the film. My sister, Roopa has designed the look. I had lots of meetings with Bhushanji and we discussed my look in detail.
Meanwhile, Himesh is busy composing music for the film. The music is a big responsibility. Music from the original film is still remembered widely.

Himesh Reshammiya’s first Tamil film, Dashaavtaram’s, music will be released by Jackie Chan. The action superstar is expected to fly down to Chennai in February 2008 for the music launch of this film starring Kamal Hassan in 10 different roles.
Apparently, the producer of the film, Oscar Films Ravichandran, managed to persuade Chan to do the honours since he holds the rights to release Jackie Chan’s movies in India. According to our sources, Ravichandran showed the Rush Hour series of the southern superstars films which got him impressed. When we broke the news to him, Himesh said, I am really delighted to hear this.

To perform live without props for three hours isn’t easy.
But that’s precisely what Himesh managed to do at the prestigious Heineken music hall in Amsterdam on Saturday, December 1 when he performed live before a jam-packed audience.
Himesh was the first Indian performer at Heineken which has seen the likes of Nelly Furtado and Pink Floyd perform.
“What was specially thrilling for me was the fact that the audience didn’t only comprise of Indians and Pakistanis. There were Moroccons and people from all over the world at Heineken.

Himesh Reshammiya may have made his inclination towards his acting career loud and clear but that hasn’t stopped him from interacting with his fans via his concerts. On Saturday, December 1 2007, Himesh performed LIVE in front of a packed audience at Amsterdam’s Heineken music hall.
Informs our source, “The show was a massive success with a super packed audience. What enthralled Himesh and his troupe further was that there were audiences present in the show who not just belonged to India and other parts of Asia but also from the rest of the world.”

Dil Ki…Surkh Deewaron pe…Deewaron pe…Naam Hai Tera Tera!
Hello Friends!
Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to you all for participating in our Song of the Week discussions!! Many thanks to all those who voted for this week’s chosen song!
A strong favourite of all Reshammiyans, the chosen song for the next 2 weeks is none other than: Naam Hai Tera!
Background on Naam Hai Tera
Naam Hai Tera originates from Himeshji’s first solo album as a singer & music composer: Aap Kaa Surroor. It is the second song of the album.
Personally, the song has a very special place in my heart, as I am sure it does with all other HR fans. The song has a unique melody with a range of instruments, from the piano introduction to an almost heavy guitar rock feel in the chorus of the song.
The video for the song is also immensly popular & has been directed by Himeshji’s best friend Prashant Chadha. The video featured Himeshji & model turned actress, Deepika Padukone. Deepika also featured in the remix video for the song which had an army look to it.
Song information:
Singer: Himesh Reshammiya
Music Director: Himesh Reshammiya
To start of the discussion, please tell us:
*Why do you like the song,
*Why is the song special to you,
*What do you think of the melody,
*What do you think about the lyrics,
*How many times have you listened to the song &
*Anything else that you love about the song!!
