More news on our Rockstar Himeshji! :)
Himesh Reshammiya had said on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee with Karan that he always wears a cap as he has a receding hairline and will be going for hair transplant very soon.
Himesh’s hair transplant finally complete and we will get to see his new look in producer Bhushan Kumar’s three films- Karzzz directed by Satish Kaushik, Kajraare directed by Pooja Bhatt and John Matthew Matthan’s A Love Issshtory.
Here’s how the miracle happened. Our source says, “Himesh completed his hair transplant in four sittings. Three of these were done in Europe while the last one was done in Singapore. The procedure has been going on for the last four months.
Although it hardly takes four sittings, it took over four months for Himesh to complete the procedure due to his packed schedule. With every sitting, his hair was looking better and there was a steady improvement by about 25 to 30 per cent after every sitting.”
Himesh’s stylist Roopa Chaddha supervised the entire procedure and gave him this new look. They both had discussions with a hair stylist in Europe and then they closely monitored the procedure. After which, Himesh quietly went to Europe in August this year, for the transplant.
“In fact early this month, when Himesh performed at Amsterdam he suddenly removed his cap for a short while, when performing his hit number ‘Zara jhoom jhoom’. That’s when he started feeling confident about his new look,” says our source.
Although Himesh Reshammiya remained unavailable for comment, his stylist Roopa Chaddha says, “Yes the transplant has been done successfully but I would not like to give out any more details. All his three forthcoming films will see him in three different looks. However, he will also be seen wearing his trademark cap in some portions of all his films.”
Our source adds, “When Himesh performed at Amsterdam, he knew that it was his biggest show as no Indian singer had ever performed there. So, when he was performing he went backstage and suddenly came back on the stage without his cap.
The audience was extremely excited to see his new look. And that’s not all. Himesh has already lost about nine kgs and will lose four more kgs for his upcoming films.”

hair transplant..hmm…i know, infact we all know that himeshji must be looking very great here… waiting to see his new looks…
he has quite changed frm many differnt looks… and he lookked great in it! 1st, was wen he changed to trademark cap and black coat..then he changed to a… i 4got what 2 call that!! i mean a sort of hat or something like that! he looked in it too. and i’m sure that he will look much nicer in his new brand look now!
err..jem, can yu remind me what was himeshji’s best friend’s name in the movie..and if possible in real life too? AKS was t-series , right?

& yes Aap Kaa Surroor the movie was under the T Series banner! However in the movie, Himeshji’s best friend was Shravan :D.
thanks Jem dear. now i can pray that himesh be the winner… i have read somewhere that ranbir kapoor is leading, and i am very angry on voters… if this was to be made in mauritius, the winner would have been def. apna himesh……….

Hi there! I was at the concert in Amsterdam. It rocked ofcourse ! but!!! …
first of all Himesh did NOT take his cap off during the whole show…i dont know how this got published when this didnt even happen. As for the English songs , he sang everything in Hindi. Original Songs , yeah i also thought there were going to be English songs but there werent! Once again , the taking off the cap during the concert thing isnt true!!

@Raj: hi! thanks for the info…maybe what got published in the article was the “original” plan but looks like it didn’t work out! I did hear however, that Himeshji did come on stage at one point without his cap to show off his new look…maybe you can confirm if this is true?
