*Kola Laka Varelli (sung by Himeshji)
It’s a must to hear both songs, but especially the 2nd song as it is sung by our rockstar - something that we have all been waiting for a long time

Aashiq Banaya…Aashiq Banaya…Aashiq Banaya Aapne!
Hello Friends!
A BIG thank you to all of you who participated in choosing our first song of the week! The chosen song for the next 2 weeks is none other than Aashiq Banaya Aapne!!
Background on Aashiq Banaya Aapne
As we all know, this song is the title track for the film Aashiq Banaya Aapne. It marks the beginning of Himeshji’s career as a playback singer. Himeshji wanted to record the song with a fresh voice, but wasn’t able to find anyone suitable enough for the song. Director, Aditya Dutt suggested that Himeshji should sing the song himself & after that, as they say, the rest is history Himeshji’s best friend Prashant Chadha directed the remix video for ABA (also featuring actress Tanushree Dutta) & Roopa Chadha (Prashant’s sister) styled Himeshji. The song went on to do tremendous success: playing in clubs, pubs & disco’s alike! It was also number 1 across the charts for many weeks!

Himesh Reshammiya is literally going places these days.
Satish Kaushik will be directing him in the remake of Karzzz . Kaushik says, Im in Kenya right now scouting locations for Karzzz. From here I will go to South Africa and see some more locations. And Im going to attend Himesh’s live concert too.

Composer, singer and successful actor, Himesh has now become a rare commodity, by his own choice. The first Indian rockstar (after AAP KA SURROOR) has reportedly decided to compose music only for the films that he stars in. And there are three upcoming projects, as per the media.
However, diehard fans of Himesh need not despair, as they do not have to wait long for his next audio album. As per our music based sources, Himesh’s next album will hit the sales counters very soon. Just to elaborate, Himesh is one of the two composers in Firoz Nadiadwala’s Christmas week release, WELCOME. Himesh has for company the underrated Anand Raj Anand.

Himesh Reshammiya, a top Bollywood composer, vocalist and actor and his 38 strong group will be flown to Nairobi by Qatar Airways to honour a promise he made to his Kenyan fans last year.
On November 16th he will unleash his pop and techno beats at the Nairobi Gymkhana for a one-day concert.
