Hannsikaa talking about Himeshji!!!

Published by Jem at 6:12 pm under Aap Kaa Surroor the moviee: The Real Luv Story

From a child artiste to Reshammiya’s lady love in ‘Aap Ka Suroor’, Hannsikaa Motwani has ‘grown’ overnight literally.

When did she grow up? is the question that hit viewers when they saw Hannsikaa Motwani (appeared as child artiste in the TV show Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and the film Koi Mil Gaya) playing Himesh Reshammiya’s love interest in Aap ka Surroor.

Also, the curiosity that was built up by keeping her away from the media glare was immense. Yes, care was taken to keep the female lead under wraps, confesses Hansika. I guess it was done simply because had I been questioned about my work before the movie’s release, I wouldn’t have been able to speak much, explains Hannsikaa.

What’s the secret behind her sudden and noticeable makeover? I honestly don’t know. People say that I have taken hormone injections or undergone some kind of surgery. It’s really ridiculous to talk like that, laughs off the new damsel on the block.

Incidentally, Hannsikaa is already a couple of movies old down South, apart from Himesh’s debut flick. The industry there has some great actors. In fact, they call me golden leg, simply because they feel I am lucky for them, smiles Hannsikaa.

While critics may have lashed out at Himesh’s acting skills, Hannsikaa has a different opinion. More than being a good actor, he is a very good human being. I don’t care what people say about him or his singing. The bottom line is that Himesh has proved himself. I’m nobody to judge him states Hannsikaa.

While she claims to be like any other college going teenager and manages her studies via her laptop, acting as a career was always on her mind. My mom knew that I would be an actor. She kept pushing me and maybe that’s why I am here, explains Hannsikaa.
The debutante has gained a sizeable fan following. She says, Just last week, a lady with her child stood outside my door. She had even brought chocolates and flowers along. It was heartwarming.

    assalamalikum,
this is a fact that when anyone starts getting fame people cannot refrain themselves from criticizing them. all that i have to say is that hannsikaa focus on ur career and do not care about what people say. you will INSALLAH one day make a great celebrity. it is really very pleasing for me to watch someone of my age having so much success. may ALLAH bless u with abundant happiness and success.

  4. die hard HR fanaticon 07 Jul 2007 at 2:15 pm

Himesh, I watched AKS….many congratulations on the success of your movie AKS…well done hansika..my opinion has changed about u!

Let me put forward an issue here which I feel has been completely ignored / overlooked / sidelined due to the excitement and overwhelm of AKS-the movie. As we all know, himesh has many avatars (serial producer in the past, singer/composer n now actor in present and god knows what in the future). I salute his versatility, he is a powerhouse of talent, an icon in multi-tasking, a confident aware up-to-date genius as a person, a rock star and now a ‘super star’. HR rocks!! No issues whatsoever, but…………

My friends, I was so excited when HR started singing but by acting he has diverted his line again. When HR started composing, he quit TV production, now that he started acting, could he….!!??…. Don’t take this lightly, it can get serious, do you know what 3 albums in year means? Let me put it like this “where there were floods (in terms of music), now there is going to be drought”. Do HR-fans want to keep waiting patiently for a new album like A.R.Rahman fans (i always pity them for the wait)? And this is where HR’s other commitments (and now acting in addition) upset the balance.

Let me ask HR-fans a simple question. I give you two perspectives, do you prefer from himesh “3 music albums (only 1 album in every 4 months) and 1-2 movies in a year OR around an average of 12 + or at least 6-8 music albums (as he has been giving in the past) and 0 movies in a year”. Sorry, as selfish as I may sound, I’d go for the second option anytime, as yet.

Has the birth of HR-the actor killed HR-the composer/singer? You see, the musical drought is on its way, its only just begun, a small jhalak was shown of it when there wasn’t a single release between Aap ki khatir and Red (6 months/half a year n that’s huge gap n a long wait for me!). By the time the drought will hit you hard n you will feel its impact, you will realize and then I guess that you will make up your mind whether you are a fan of HR-the actor or HR-the composer/singer, coz there will always be a trade-off between the both. I feel it will always be both a WIN/LOSE situation. Because there is only 1 himesh reshammiya, “aur agar music system ek hi hai, toh phir CD aur RADIO same time pe nahi baj sakte!!”

Even im a HR-fan to the core, and if I feel this way, then I got the rite to express it n HR ought to know it. N for those of you that are happily willing to sacrifice (or rather royally/wittily robbed of) his music at the expense of acting without any qualms, then you got a big heart n ur a bade dilwala!

There’s only and only 1 reason why I would support and want HR to act. He will give the best music to himeslf, and he will become more popular, mint more money (much more than composing/singing), be more successful, popular and attain fame. May be some things mean more than music!

Himeshji, i agree that your performance was fine in AKS..i liked it…but again..i was thinking…do I want to miss out on so many of ur albums for a 2 hour movie..iv always been n will remain with u for your music..but plz forgive me if regarding your acting…I sound lyk one of those 1% against you..It is not that I am against your acting…I don’t even care whether how good u can act or not, in my view, if you weren’t a composer/singer then I 100% support u in whatever u want to do (even act in Hollywood, open up a production house or satisfy ur smallest-to-biggest dream), but picture this – in those dates where u would have composed and sung so many chartbuster songs, now u will be acting somewhere.

In that time where HR only and only works, if he divides it other than music then it’s a miss-out. Now that is a grave loss in terms of music, and I can already feel it. N if you became a HR-fan for his music, then you will feel it too, if not now then sometime later. You can have an idea to what extent im obsessed/spellbound/hypnotized with his music, words cannot describe!

After having said all this…still I can adjust and say…himesh…aap countless films mein act karo…infact aap kuch bhi karo…par yaar….apna music toh math kam karo??!!??!! mera bhi toh kuch soocho yaar….kaise chaar mahine wait karunga aapke ek album ki? Am I wrong to say this? Chalo, if not the usual dosage of music, atleast 6-8 albums?…but when you say in ur interviews only 3 albums,I get worried n think why only 3,the answer is simple, coz of ur acting..n thats where this whole issue begins :-O :D

@DIE HARD HR FNATIC: I think HR took a good decision..this way his quality of music will improve and will touch new heights. What he basically means is that wid doing 3 films a year..he wont shed off as he will do movies and will always be in front of us..thru the camera.

  7. Imran Ilyason 08 Jul 2007 at 1:52 pm

  11. AppreciateHimeshon 09 Jul 2007 at 7:46 pm

I agree with you ‘die hard HR fanatic’. When there was gap between ‘Aap Ki Khatir’ and ‘Red’, I was guessing that it might had been because Himesh is spending time with the shooting of AKS - The movie.

Hope that whatever Himesh comes out with becomes a Super-Duper Hit!!!

    Cheers!

  13. die hard HR fanaticon 10 Jul 2007 at 4:51 pm

@ vinayak and appreciate himesh….thank you atleast you considered and went through my point of view (apart from the site team ofcourse!) as most of HR-fans are not bothered or don’t really care about this issue….

you know, happiness has no leaps or bounds….its just a feeling….and honestly….whenever i hear a new himesh album (keeping in mind from his previous record, i know that HR is capable of magic and unexpected surprise tunes)…it makes me happy….usually im not expressive in terms of feelings/emotions…but a new album makes me carried away….it is one of things (apart from my routine lyf) that makes me look forward to the future….the wait for an album thats just around the corner (and not around 3-4 months away)….us intezaar mein apna mazaa hai….

HR…i don’t have any qualms with ur acting….but you can never strike the same chord/connection with me with ur acting like you did with ur music….you r a very hardworking person….u can undertake various professions….but deep within even u know where your killer strength lies and the x-factor of your success….your music

its not that I want a new himesh album every fortnight or so….but just to quote….himesh declined so many musical projects e.g. the train, sholay, welcome (just 1-2 songs in it….i read somewhere…plz dont count on it…i mentioned to illustrate my point)…n many others too….so if i get deprived of my music and happiness then i ought to say it….

Anyway to bury the hatchet regarding his acting….the main thing is that HR should know what one of his hard-core fan feels (hope he happens to read it)….not that im telling him to do/not do…or rather dictate things…and that he would readily oblidge for that matter!

  14. Vinayak Chandraon 10 Jul 2007 at 5:54 pm

@die hard HR fanatic: Ya i get what you mean..but well looking at the positive side i think doing less films will increase his quality of work.
