I am sure many of you have seen the new promos of Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Darling’ (*Fardeen Khan & Esha Deol) which are picturised on 1 duet song sung by Himeshji: ‘Tadap Tadap Ho Tum’!!

Seeing as Himeshji has only composed one song for the film (original & remix version rest of the songs are composed by Pritam) we want to know what you all think of the song!!! So please tell us your views here!!! I personally love the song!!! It sounds very different to Himeshji’s other compositions yet it still has his unique violin touches to it!!

MUMBAI: Himesh Reshammiya will be seen on Koffee with Karan on 29 July at 9 pm.

On this week’s episode, Reshammiya clears the air and confesses that he has no problems with Salman Khan and Sonu Nigam. In fact, he admits that he owes all his success to Salman and strongly believes that Sonu Nigam is the best singer of India.

Reshammiya tells Johar that he is aware of the fact that large sections of the industry make fun of his singing; want to watch his film Aap Ka Suroor only to laugh at him but he says those things never bother him.

I sincerely believe in the power of divine force. There is nothing possible without it. Being talented is one thing, being aided by a divine force is different. If only talent worked in this industry, what would explain the number of flops where far more talented people have come together to create a product? Once you work on making a film, you realize that it is not just talent or hard work which makes you deliver goods. There is an element of spirituality which makes you start working 18 hours a day. You start working like a genius and things start falling in place by themselves.

Singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya makes a birthday resolution to do one charity show across the country for the cause of street children.
“This birthday is special for me. For till last year I was just a singer. This year I sport a new feather of being an actor in my hat,” says an excited Himesh Reshammiya. His mother’s blessings seem to have worked well for him as his debut flick Aap Kaa Surroor - The Movie - The Real Luv Story, coincided with his mother’s birthday on June 29 this year. Having received a whopping opening, the flick is termed a success by established trade analysts.

After delivering hit music for Abbas-Mustan’s Humraaz (2002), music director-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya and lyricist Sudhakar Sharma never worked together again. Sources say they had an ego clash and parted ways.

Since then, Reshammiya has touched dizzy heights while Sharma is now out of work. But few know that before Aap Kaa Surroor hit the theatres two weeks ago, Reshammiya invited Sharma to his place and gave him a cheque of Rs 2 lakh.

When Salman shook me!

This is one assignment I won’t forget in a long, long time.

It all began when I asked the star why he was upset with his protege, Himesh Reshammiya, and why he hadn’t met Himesh after Aap Kaa Surroor, the singer’s debut movie, was released last month.

Salman, the gossipwallahs had insisted, was upset with Himesh after the singer-composer refused to score music for the actor’s films and instead launched his career as an actor.

I couldn’t believe what Salman did next.

He bent low, shook my spectacles, saying, “I have no problems with Himesh.”

His songs have been making the autowallas go Jhoom Jhoom for some years now. His surroor makes them cry out Aap Ki Kashish , each time they start their autos. And just in case, you do not quite relate to their Arman, then that’s just too bad. Himeshbhai ke songs and the auto ride come as a package deal and it is hard to ignore them both!

On June 29, we got to witness another side to this Himesh Junoon as we went to watch the ‘real’ movie, Aap Kaa Surroor , at a movie theatre located at Esplanade. And in the crowd we found lots of auto drivers who tirelessly ferry us from Chandni Chowk to Park Circus and vice versa day in and day out.
