*Firstly today is very special because we are all waiting to see Himeshji’s first ever movie Aap Kaa Surroor!! I am hoping that as many of us as possible will be able to see Aap Kaa Surroor the movie first day first show ;)!!! Himeshji we are always with you!!!

*29th June is also a very special day for us!!because this is the day that we started our website in honour of Himeshji!!!! So Happy 1st Birthday to us!!! We thank you all so much for supporting us & Himeshji!!! When there is faith there is no fear

* We started this blog on 29th june ref: Himesh Reshammiya Blog and its a coincidence that the Aap Kaa Surroor is also being released the same date.

*Also, we are honoured that as well as it being our Blog/Site birthday today, we also share this special day with Himeshji’s mom (as it is also her birthday today!) - Shrimati Madhu Reshammiya! We wish you a very Happy Birthday Ma’am!!!

Bollywood’s celebrated singer Himesh Reshammiya makes his acting debut Friday with ‘Aap Ka Surroor’. The industry wishes him good luck ahead of the film’s release:

Riteish Deshmukh: ‘I’m a big Himesh fan. I’ve already booked the tickets for my friends and me for his film. I’m really looking forward to his film. I wish him all the best.’

Vipul Shah: ‘For Himesh to be accepted as an actor, is a big challenge. But I also know Himesh has risen from the ranks and so he knows what it takes to be successful. He’s a clever man and a canny musician. I’m sure he has covered all bases before becoming an actor. I wish him all luck.’

In its seventh week, Star One’s The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3 will see singer turned actor Himesh Reshammiya on the show.

The recluse actor will be seen smiling, laughing and singing on the show. The show will air on 29 June at 9 pm. Reshammiya acting debut Aap Kaa Surroor is all set to release theatrically this Friday (29 June).

Himesh Reshammiya in Zee TV’s Teen Bahuraaniyaan

Music director, singer, performer and now actor Himesh Reshammiya, who is also mentor on the musical talent hunt show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, will be making a guest appearance in Zee TV’s soap, Teen Bahuraaniyaan by Paresh Rawal, this Tuesday. Says Himesh: “When the channel approached me for this guest appearance I was more than happy to oblige as my association with Zee TV dates back to the time when I was the music director of the show Andaaz.”

The show’s track has been modified to accommodate Himesh in the serial, with the head of the family, Mithi Ba, being shown as an ardent fan of the musician. This will lead to an unexpected meeting.

Himesh will be hosting a 30-minute special show on Zee Music called AAP KAA HIMESH, to be aired worldwide next week on Zee. Adlabs, the worldwide distributors of AAP KAA SURROOR, have teamed up with Zee to extensively promote the film.

Himesh Reshammiya’s acting debut Aap Kaa Surroor releases on the same day at the Deol family starrer, Apne. The Deols have decided to release their ambitious joint-family saga Apne on June 29 too.

On hearing this, Himesh personally requested the Deols to re-schedule the release of their film. But to no avail.

Himesh says, “Yes, I did request them to release it on another Friday. But they refused. I respect their decision. I’m sure they’ve their own reasons for settling on June 29. I think our film is very small compared with theirs. It stars Dharamji and his two sons, which means it has 300 per cent box-office clout where as my film has an untried singer-turned-actor whom the whole world is waiting to rip apart.”
