June release for Reshammiya’s acting debut

MUMBAI: Music director and singer Himesh Reshammiya, who has now turned actor, is busy shooting for his debut film. Titled Aap Ka Surroor The Real Love Story, the film is slated for a worldwide release in June.

The film is said to be a romantic thriller. Produced by Vijay Taneja and directed by Prashant Chadha, new find Riya plays Reshammiya’s lady love in the film.

Reshammiya says, “We have planned to release the movie in the last week of June. A classily cut-promo is already being aired since 13 April on various channels.”

A source closer to the production and on condition of anonymity says, “The movie is being planned for a worldwide release on 29 June. The shooting of the film is more than 80 per cent complete. It has been extensively shot in the virgin locales of Bangkok, Switzerland and parts of Germany. A small portion may be shot in India, possibly on the beaches of Goa.”

He further adds, “The music of the film has already been acquired by T-Series. Now talks are on with corporate companies for worldwide acquisition.”

Sources also reveal that Eros International and Studio 18 are in the lead to acquire the worldwide distribution rights of the film.

@Jessi - nope it hasn’t yet …it was supposed to relelase on the 25th of April ( as himeshji had mentioned in 1 of the articals”) par nw its gonna relelase on the 28th of April jus saw the music promo on Sony - n they mentioned tat its gonna release on the 28th !
