Himeshji: Interview on AKS…

These days, Himesh Reshammiya is busy shooting his debut film Aap Ka Surroor — The Real Love Story.

Produced by Vijay Taneja and directed by Prashant Chadha the movie is slated to have a worldwide release on June 29 with the music being released on April 25.

We caught up with Himesh who’s currently in Goa shooting for an important scene in the movie.

How has your movie shaped up?

It’s nearly 75 per cent complete. We have shot extensively in Germany, Switzerland and Bangkok. There’s a very small sequence that we are shooting in Goa.

In fact, that’s the only part in the film that has been shot in India; everything else has been shot abroad.

Both Prashant (Chadha) and I wanted to give a totally fresh look for the film. We always see the same old locations and places, this time we are giving the audience the chance to watch a love story set against a very different background.

There is a buzz that you have shot two endings for the climax.
Yes, but I can’t reveal which ending I am going with. Till date, in all my music videos my love interest has gone away in the end.

So I wanted to play with the idea of having two different endings. Prashant, too, was quite excited with the idea. I think the audience will find out the end on June 29 when the film releases.

Is the film out and out romantic?
No. It’s a thriller as well and has an interesting twist to it. Riya — the leading lady who is paired opposite me is fabulous. Also we have BMW on board who have given us their cars in which the climax and the action sequences have been shot. There is an ample amount of action along with romance in the film.

    hi jem and sunny. big thank you for this interesting interview of himesh . last nite i saw the two beautiful songs mohartama and tera milna. wow superb songs which i immediately fell in love with. what a beautiful pair Riaa and himesh. but i’m a bit jealous it should have been me + himesh in lieu of Riaa!!!

    In Ur website i saw dat AKS music rls is on 25th April,but on promo dey r showng dat music wl rls on 28th April.Wich 1 is correct?Neways d ol songs 4m d movie is xcelnt.Especially “Yeh tera mera milna” is my song.

    i’m really excited 4 the fact that aap ka surroor is going to be released!! i can’t wait to see himesh reshammiya in his 1st movie, since he looks much more hotter and sexier!! he is such a cutie!! himesh always looked cute even when he was little!!he is sooo handsome and sweet and i love the way he speaks so peacefully in english!! u sound sooooooooooo cute!!

    there’s nothing to comment about himesh. whatever he does, it will be the best. apart from his tight schedule,he makes time to encourage upcoming singers.isnt it a fine job. luv u himesh……..keep rocking
