Himesh Reshammiya’s first step to the silver screen as an actor is ‘Aapka Suroor’. It has been in the news since the day it commenced. The teasers of the film have already created waves and heat in the trade and everyone is looking forward to the film’s release.

Though Himesh isn’t saying it, he has recorded a song with Sunidhi Chauhan to be picturized on Mallika and Himesh.
Why Mallika’s presence was kept under wraps? “She was signed on from the start. But we didn’t announce her name. I never intended to hide her presence in my film,” exclaims Himesh from Bangkok. “If all goes well Aap Kaa Surroor will make me the first singing star since Kishore Kumar. And why would I feel insecure about Mallika’s presence? The truth is she’s playing a negative role, a vamp. She plays a strong character. We wanted to introduce the film’s leading lady first. It was nothing but a marketing strategy to announce my leading lady Riaa’s name first. There was no intention to create any secrecy about Mallika’s presence.”

Himesh Reshammiya is going all out to promote his film Aap Kaa Surroor- The Real Love Story. Following news about the film having two different ending - a happy one and a sad one - it has now been revealed that the risque Mallika Sherawat is to be one of the film’s assets. Mallika will play a vamp in the film.
Our source says, “Mallika Sherawat is currently shooting some vital sequences and a song for Aap Kaa Surroor - The Real Love Story. This is the first time she will be playing a completely negative character in a film. She plays the third angle of the film and the principle dramatic element that creates problems between Himesh and the leading lady of the film, newcomer Riyaa.”

Himesh Reshammiya’s AAP KAA SURROOR Bangkok shooting schedule from April 17. Well, at this point of time, the unit of the film is busy canning some important portions of the June 29 release in the Thai capital.
Here is more. While the shooting is in full flow, Himesh is also completing the dubbing of the movie that also marks the debut of Prashant Chadha as a director.

Himesh Reshammiya was a busy man in 2006 with an enormous number of albums coming from him. He kept going at a break neck speed throughout the year until he left for the concert and made the big announcement that he is making a film starring himself.
At the advent of 2007 Himesh was back in form and created rage once again with Namastey London, Red and Shakalaka Boom Boom. April has got him busy once again with three of his releases ready to hit the stands.

The countdown has begun! Himesh Reshammiya’s first film as an actor, AAP KAA SURROOR, is all set to hit the screens in June this year. The film was extensively shot in Germany and while you’re reading this news-piece, Himesh has flown to Bangkok to participate in the penultimate 22-day shooting schedule of the film.
The promotion of AAP KAA SURROOR has kick-started and Himesh is extremely pleased by the feedback from his fans. “The reaction is splendid. People have liked the promos immensely. I don’t wish to tom-tom about myself since that would look weird, but it gladdens my heart to know that people are liking the promos,” Himesh informs me.

These days, Himesh Reshammiya is busy shooting his debut film Aap Ka Surroor — The Real Love Story.
Produced by Vijay Taneja and directed by Prashant Chadha the movie is slated to have a worldwide release on June 29 with the music being released on April 25.
We caught up with Himesh who’s currently in Goa shooting for an important scene in the movie.

MUMBAI: Music director and singer Himesh Reshammiya, who has now turned actor, is busy shooting for his debut film. Titled Aap Ka Surroor The Real Love Story, the film is slated for a worldwide release in June.
The film is said to be a romantic thriller. Produced by Vijay Taneja and directed by Prashant Chadha, new find Riya plays Reshammiya’s lady love in the film.
Reshammiya says, “We have planned to release the movie in the last week of June. A classily cut-promo is already being aired since 13 April on various channels.”
