Himeshji: Interview!!!

Himesh Reshammiya songs inspire deejays to television show hosts, but his biggest fans apparently, are autorickshaw drivers. Working on this assumption, the singer-songwriter-actor has enlisted six autorickshaw drivers for a vital pre-climax shoot in his film, in Germany. The entire sequence will cost Rs 75 lakh, and presumablythis is the first time that autorickshaws will be seen on German roads.

“The pre-climax of the film is integral to the love story,” he says. But why the autorickshaws? “It’s a tribute to my fans, many of whom are rickshaw drivers. Unfortunately, I can’t divulge any more details at this point,” says Himesh.

Apparently, he was also referred to as the Robbie Williams of India at the Berlin Film Festival. Himesh laughs, “I don’t want any tags but I am happy since Robbie Williams is a great guy.”

When quizzed about the two leading ladies in his film, he says, “I can’t divulge more information now. Wait and watch, we have a surprise up our sleeves.” Finally, when quizzed about his weight loss, he says, “Yes, I have lost a lot of weight for my role. Don’t you like me slim?”

    Very nice interview, listening to what HIMESHJI has just got to say makes u feel like and convinced on what a GREAT person he is!!! I will DIE the day i see him, and i promise one day i will… don’t know when though!!!

    my god himesh loosing his weight!!! he is sooooo hot nowadays. i always rush to catch a glimpse of him on tv. i like this guy very much. his eyes speak everything and his smile is so deadly.

    the local junta is with himesh..because of those people himesh is heard everywhere..aur public jiske saath hai..no one can touch that guy..at the end its the masses that matter as in the case with altaf raja who was a fav of taxiwaalas…n…the soundtrax of shaka laka boom…title trax is a kool song..the rap is so effective..this is a versatile himesh for this song..thaare vaaste..typical HR ‘easy as ABC’ stamp..namumkin is the 2nd best song i think..it has a v slight raaga touch to it..dil lagaayenge a disappointment..himesh has decided to sing a below average song once too often..he has the discretion to sing any of his countless composed songs…then why does he choose to sing very ordinary songs at times..hes not limited by few options to sing from,its a song bank of 1000 tunes..im sure if he wants he can reserve xlusive songs from that bank for himself to sing…cmon get selective..the verses/stanzas of dil lagaayenge are still decent..the album is another success for himesh..he is on a roller coaster ride…
