ONE SONG FOR DARLING

Even after stepping out of Bhushan Kumar’s Darling, the ever-busy Himesh records a song for the movie…

A friend in need is a friend indeed. So, when Himesh Reshammiya wanted to step down as Darling’s music director thanks to his busy schedule, producer Bhooshan Kumar immediately obliged. However, Himesh went ahead and did one important track for the film. Now Pritam has taken over this film which is directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

Bhushan Kumar informs, “Himesh is extremely busy right now as he is recording songs for his film Aapka Surroor – The Real Love Story. He very reluctantly asked me if he could opt out of Darling and I agreed immediately. Himesh is a dear friend and Pritam has stepped in as Darling’s music director. However, I was pleasantly surprised when Himesh recorded one song for me and gave it to me. See, he already has his release date fixed for his film and so he has to complete the film’s music after which he will shoot for it. Darling has five songs and the rest of the songs will be done by Pritam.”

Himeshji: Interview

Published by Jem under HR Interviews, HR News

Himesh Reshammiya
His concert opens at Wembley tonight and the singer’s turning hoarse announcing his big plans. We’re more interested in probing his dark side and we realise that his reasoning is tuned differently today.

Himesh Reshammiya, who once claimed he’s the best thing to happen to Indian music, now indulges in some hippy babble about karma and destiny the international tours have had some effect, eh?

You’re this self-proclaimed rockstar.
That will be proved after my Wembley concert on October 29. The status of a rockstar hasn’t been designed by me. I’ve never said that Im a rockstar. If you go to the internet, you can check out that the world press who have covered the US shows have seen the euphoria. I’ve performed to a packed house at amphitheatre Hollywood, at Air Canada Centre which has the largest capacity where international rockstars perform.
