Himeshji refusing films these days?

Published by Jem at 5:30 pm under HR Interviews

Sometime back it was showering Himesh Reshammiya all over, with one album following the other. With the emergence of Himesh, Bollywood music industry was suddenly flooded with hits. But now singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya is seeking a break and wants to cut down on his work. Recently he has refused many films for playback singing and composing, sending shockwave in the industry, leading filmmakers to panic.

Himesh has rejected more than 15-16 films. Everybody has been wondering why Himesh has decided to cut down works drastically. The reason is that Himesh has decided to slow down and give more priority to quality rather than quantity. He will be taking up only three films in the coming year. He says that cutting down on work will only boost his career.

This is a stunning decision for someone who is at the peak of his career. Wonder why? Inside sources reveal that there’s something up the composer’s sleeve, likely to be a big project.

“I’m not permitted to reveal too much at this stage, but I’m venturing into a couple of new projects. They’re related to the entertainment industry. It could be with music, films or maybe even something else. What I’m going to do is related to music and Bollywood. Also I’ve decided to work only in big films. Gone are the days when I used to do movies in bulk. Now, I’m looking at exclusivity in my work. Job satisfaction is my priority now. I’ve achieved what I wanted to, now I only want to do the best,” says Himesh. Wait until he makes the announcement of the same on October 29 at the Wembley stadium in London, where over 18,000 people will be present. Himesh surely knows the trick to make news!

Well I think what Himeshji is doing is right, b/c he wants to make quality music and that does take time, so i’m cool w/ him slowing down!!! This also means he’ll put more effort in to ever song, eventhough he already does that, so Himeshji keep up the awesome work…LUV YA!!!!!!! :x

It is a bit shocking but i think Himeshji knows what he is doing. I don’t have any problem with him slowing down as long as he sings. He just have to keep the magic he has in his voice and give us good music…I wish him good luck for the project he is working on. So himeshji keep up the good work u r the best. :x Jem thanks for posting all news concerning himeshji. u are doing a good job keep up this site is the best.

…but all these years(2005,2004,2003,2002 so on) he has been giving atleast 12 albums per year n with good quality music..n he has over 1000 songs in his bank..then why would he possibly restrict himself all of a sudden..agreed that there was an overdose in previous months whereby there were 2-3 albums per month…..i definitely know that he is capable of giving atleast 10-12 albums each year for many years to come….there r only two possibilities…either he has got big banner contracts, either he’s gonna act (i seriously don’t think so)…or i doubt this piece of information…what else could it be??…but gr8 work guys to post everything about HR!
