Year 2006 has been laded with Himesh Reshammiya with a new album from him releasing practically every month! January saw the release of ‘Aap Ka Surroor’ that is still registering great sales, in February came ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’ that had his version of title song turning out to be the album’s USP, March brought us ‘Tom Dick and Harry’, ‘Banaras’ and ‘Shaadi Se Pehle’, April had a hit album in ‘36 China Town’, May saw the twin success in the form of ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ and ‘Chup Chup Ke’, June celebrated his best work since ‘Aksar’ in the form of ‘Ahista Ahista’ while July was crowded too with ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’, ‘Rocky’ and ‘Dil Diya Hai’. From August onwards things may be a little different as ‘Aap Ki Khatir’ appears to be the last of his albums for some more weeks to come before he hits back again.

‘Aap Ki Khatir’ Music ROCKS

“It’s a Popcorn-Cola film,†said director Dharmesh Darshan at the Music Launch of his eagerly anticipated film ‘Aap Ki Khatir’ at J W Marriot Hotel yesterday. “It is not a classic, no it’s not aimed at being a cult film either. It’s a breezy romantic film that will entertain you and you shall go back home happy,†he added further. Leading stars like Akshay Khanna, Priyanka Chopra, Suniel Shetty, Dino Morea and newcomer Bhumika lent their glittering presence to the gala event. Music Director Himesh Reshammiya couldn’t attend the event as he is away in USA.
An audio visual presentation showcasing the promos of the songs was a rocking affair. The music is very promising. No matter how much the critics may want to pull down Himesh, he continues to Surprise with his energy levels.

Himesh Reshammiya, the superstar of Bollywood music.
If you watch Indian television or follow Bollywood music, there is no way that you do not know about Bollywood’s latest sensation Himesh Reshammiya. Himesh is a prolific music director who is churning out hits after hits and has set a new trend with his catchy tunes and his rockstar look. His latest hits Ahista Ahista, 36 China Town and Phir Hera Pheri are all chartbusters. Let us take a look at Himesh’s amazing rise.
Himesh Reshammiya started his music career with Salman Khan starrer Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, followed by Bandhan. Himesh was first noticed for the superhit songs of Tere Naam. Salman Khan has been the godfather of Himesh and Himesh has high regard and has thanked Salman Khan in multiple platforms including IIFA Awards. Himesh shot to fame with the song Aashiq Banaya Aapne which he sang himself. With the success of Aashiq Banaya, there was no stopping. Himesh won the Zee Awards for the Best Singer and recently won the prestigious IIFA Best Singer award for Aashiq Banaya.

it’s groove time, baby! The crowds get into the mood
Himesh is floored by the response he’s gotten for his concerts so far
Himesh Reshammiya is a busy man. The music director-turned-singer is busy entertaining an audience across the United States. Titled Aap Ka Suroor, his string of concerts is being touted as one of the biggest and the most expensive projects ever. Talking to us from Miami on his way to Houston, a breathless and excited Himesh Reshammiya says, “I don’t have words to express what I am going through. Performing in front of such a large audience has been a dream come true.”
How has the tour been so far?
It’s been an amazing experience. I have met so many fans in the last few days that I can’t believe I am in the United States. People have travelled across the country to come and see my performance.
How big are the crowds?
My first concert in Atlanta set an all time record for that particular stadium. We had a crowd of around 7,000 people who came in to see the concert. In New Jersey, we had around 8,000 fans. Miami, too, had a similar number.

According to sources in Mumbai, it’s all official now.
The Indian version of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ has been presumably inspired by a hit Himesh Reshammiya song and will be called ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’.
It will be co-produced by Theatre Red and Synergy Communications, owned by Siddhartha Basu, who makes a transition from the General Knowledge sphere to Entertainment.
It is scheduled to launch in the first week of September. ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ will be a bi-weekly show with a high degree of audience participation and viewer interactivity.
